Road painting interventions, Vauxhall Cross, London (2000)

Road Paintings were produced with the assistance of a company who normally paint parking lines and signs on roads in London. The paintings were produced on a closed-off section of road at a busy intersection on the south side of the Thames.

This was a temporary installation commissioned by Jonathan Colin of London Print Works Trust as one of four works made in response to Vauxhall Cross, prior to a major redevelopment of this junction.
